Clarendon Studios is a small centre offering a range of courses, classes and tuition in dedicated studio space in South East London. The main studio offers a spacious relaxed and peaceful environment, in which to develop and extend your creative skills.

Courses are led by professional artist and educator John Crossley who has more than thirty years experience of teaching from undergraduate to MA students, and by Rebecca Bergese who has extensive experience of teaching with children and adults over the last 20 years. The studio is situated a short distance from the overground station and DLR and is easily accessible to students in central London.

The centre offers extensive personal tuition in painting and drawing encouraging students to develop an approach to constructing a body of creative work. Classes are arranged to suit more or less intensive art education matching the stage and interest of the students.

Some students progress to foundation studies and degree courses while others use classes and personal tuition to further develop their practice as professional artists. The courses are shaped with a range of abilities and interests in mind, whether you are an absolute beginner or a graduate who wishes to extend their practice.
